Te Reo Maori is an official language of NZ, it's our culture and history. It's one of the Principles of the NZ curriculum, we should honour and celebrate it.

So f ar, we are going to read lots of myths and legends that have taniwha in them and we are going to create our own taniwha art; we are going to sing some waiata; and practice some basic language in the classroom.
