We are a Maori Enrichment Learning Room with Kimhia Primary School in Raahui Pookeka. Twenty two tauira have been learning the traditional karakia "Whakataka te hau". As a way to help the students learn the karakia they share which line of the karakia they can remember. Each tauira says their line while the other tauira listen carefully. I have found this way of teaching and learning new information easier for the tauira to learn.
