Our class start every morning with a karakia all about setting our intentions for the day. All students know the karakia and take turns leading.

I have set the challenge to my class to learn the kaikōhau so we can begin Term 3 positively through our expressions of hope. They will make a FLIP video like this and post it to our class page. It's my role to strengthen my confidence in using Te Reo in the classroom so we can create a safe place to learn for all students to be and learn as themselves.

Our learners had their Māori moment today at Noon. We all said Kia Kaha and then listened to a read-aloud of Rona and the Moon. Our tamariki loved it.
