This year we celebrated Te wiki o te reo Maori by having a haka waiata house competition. Here is Flat Bush Primary school in Otaras snapshot of our performances

Here is my school website link: https://www. facebook. com/fbsforever/which has posted all of our matariki events that went on throughout the week. We had an opening ceremony, planting seeds day, Choir schools challenge, early morning Parakuihi, Matariki and a remembrance ceremony.

This is Flat Bush School forming a Matau - hook shape. We did a waiata and got the builder to take a photo from up on his crane. We also put on a Maori expo in the hall with interactive activities for the kids to do. . . .
