We are a Māori Charitable Trust, established in 2014 by Janice Lee (Kaitahu) we train those with disabilities in horticulture and hospitality to gain knowledge, independence and become more “work ready” for future employers. Our mission is to encourage a life of purpose. We supply 9 kura/ECE with lunches, we have two food trucks, one corporate kete kai run, market gardens, tunnel houses and are based at our Catering/Events Centre. 40% of Kaimahi live with disabilities, just over 60% of our senior management team are māori and 75% are continuing to study te reo Māori. We will continue to tautoko our journey as a workplace in Te Āo Māori with the use of reo, promoting our Kaimahi study Te reo, adhering to tikanga, ensuring opportunities for Kaimahi to strengthen their connection to Te Āo Māori is nurtured and encouraged. Mauri Ora!
