At Wairau Valley Special School we hosted a disco and we all had a kanikani and waiata to amazing songs in Te Reo.

Our Senior Satellite Class at Glenfield College performed "Purea Nea" to their fellow students from Wairau Valley Special School. Ākonga loved making up their own actions to the waiata. It was a wonderful day of coming together, sharing and celebrating our love of Te reo Māori. Sandy Vandenberg

Our waiata may have been out of time due to technology but the aroha and wairua was there. A beautiful moment shared with 30 + members of our Wairau Valley Special School community! Mauri ora!

The community of Wairau Valley Special School joined together to sing the Six 60 waiata 'Pepeha'. 30 people joined us! It was such a special moment and so good for the wairua! We are missing our tamariki so te reo brought us together to have an attaahua moment today! Mauri Ora!
