With a class of Yr2/3 we looked at Maui and the Sun retold by Peter Gossage. We also looked at Maui as a figure in Maori history, and other stories. They kids then worked on creating their imagining of Te Ra, to be completed with crayon and dye. Also we will add Maui to them in the foreground, and ropes made from string as Te Ra is slowed down by Maui and his brothers.
