Kia ora e te whānau, we start and finish our day with karakia and a whakatauki from Hionemoa Elder's pukapuka. We will speak as much re reo as possible. Karawhuia e hoa mā! ! !

Our team has planted a kawakawa tree and we talked about the principle of Whakamanawa. It is our hope that the presence of the Kawakawa plant reminds us that we are all part of the healing needed from the impacts of colonisation and the loss of the reo. We learnt and sung a new waiata 'tiro tiro'

Kia ora e te whānau. He nui nga wā kia haumaru ai i Te reo Māori i tērā wiki. I haratau matou ko oku hoa mahi i tetahi waiata hou me ngā mahi a ringa hoki. I tetahi wā I kōrero au e pā ana ki Te haerenga reo, ngā ara reo rānei. He mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa e pā ana ki ou mahi nuinui ki te whakanui Te wiki o Te reo Māori!
