Lockdown affects people in many ways and we should always be aware of our hauora (wellbeing).
For Māori Language Moment, Auckland Softball are sharing a model designed by leading Māori health advocate Sir Mason Durie. The model describes health and wellbeing as a wharenui/meeting house with four walls. When all four walls are in balance, we thrive. When one or more of these is out of balance, our wellbeing is impacted.
Over the next four days, we will dive into each part of the wharenui and share ways we can maintain a balanced hauora during lockdown 💙
