A select few from our local mental health unit day program including myself participated in a gathering of hospital staff and mental health patients singing multiple waiata in the hawkes bay hospital courtyard from 12pm for around half an hour whilst other staff etc sat and had lunch. We all really enjoyed it and it brought smiles to us all. What a awesome way to acknowledge our beautiful language.
