My manager and I spent time reading a children's picture book written in Māori that also had been translated to English for us, We read the Maori text aloud and then the English ourselves. It was really fun and engaged us both with words we knew and some we didn't.
In my every day life I try to use te reo naturally, like when greeting someone or salutations on emails to colours, animals or numbers when working with children.
