Kia ora. I work at Evans Bay Intermediate as a Youth Worker and a Teacher aide and this year for our Matariki celebrations we made a bunch of soup to share with the students and staff. students whanau contributed the vegetables we used. We had a bunch of rangatahi in the kitchen chopping vegetables and making the soup. This was an awesome event for our rangatahi to serve the wider school and take pride, ownership and initiative in their mahi.
