I still vividly remember being around 4yrs old when my Mum would drop me off kicking and screaming at Aranui Kohanga all the kids in east Otautahi were pretty rough so I definitely learned from the school of hard knocks lol, but one of my fondest memories was receiving my whale bone Kohanga Reo Taonga, it didnt mean much at the time but as I grew older and realised its significance, the journey and the wider context I was privileged to be a part of movement.
