This week, our family had the pleasure of celebrating Te Reo Māori Week, and it was an experience full of learning and connection. We started by immersing ourselves in Māori language resources, practicing basic phrases, and understanding the cultural significance behind them.

We also participated in traditional Māori activities, like kapa haka performances and cooking Māori dishes. Each day was an opportunity to engage with the language and culture more deeply, and it was heartwarming to see everyone in the family excited and involved.

Te Reo Māori Week has not only helped us gain a greater appreciation for Māori heritage but also strengthened our family's bond as we explored and embraced new traditions together. It was a meaningful reminder of the importance of preserving and celebrating our diverse cultural roots.
