Te reo Māori is the first language and unique taonga of Aotearoa/New Zealand. It's vital we all help cultivate it and keep it alive. I can do my bit by learning te reo (currently doing a course through Te Wananga o Aotearoa). Plus, I want to deepen my connection and understanding of te ao Māori; te reo is a key to this.
