Because I identify as a Māori it’s only appropriate that I meet and greet people with a simple Mōrena or Kia Ora as often as possible. Sharing kupu hou everyday during Māori language week, making people aware of how to pronounce our it properly and embracing the beautiful language that our ancestors fought to be taught in the education system to this very day!!
