I was already on my own personal journey learning my lineage, my whakapapa, my people and as this challenge came up it felt fitting to start a contemporary korowai.
One that I can weave my korero of the past,future and present into. This shall too become a beautiful addition of my life, my family for many generations to come just like te reo maori will be spoken and shared freely with love and understanding.
