I am beginning my journey in te reo maori via Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, really loving it and I'm supplementing it with a course back home to learn my mita.
I am a pākehā/māori, born and bred under te tāwharau o taku tino maunga a Taranaki
I want tāku tamariki to learn to tātou nei reo rangatira especially with a new pēpi on the way, so we can reclaim our indigenous identity without decolonising (I am proud pākehā and love my exotic heritage of both polynesia and europe)
