Our school participated in Te wā tuku reo by coming together and discussing the battle for Te Reo and the importance of 14th September in our nation's history. We discussed the petition for Te Reo to be introduced in schools in 1972 and the initiation of Te wiki o Te Reo Māori as a result. We then sung a number of waiata and haka together as a school.
