This is out awesome Year 9 Health/P.E class here in Whaingaroa. We are a very competitive bunch of students. Today we decided to split the class into 7 teams. Each team battled it out in a number of 'MOMENT' challenges. The menu for todays feast included the classic mauī/matau stick game, a school waiata battle which was taken out by our boys (who normally sit quietly in the corner), a Guess Who/What Kupu game (girls thought Hōhipera was a food...Hospital Lol), and we finished of with a well know waiata that had been cut into pieces and the students had to put it back together (forgot to say they had to do it in 60 seconds). We laughed, we sang, we played, we made a Māori Language Moment.
