We made paraoa parae for the first time. We researched words we didn’t know, and used them in our korero. We used a karakia before Kai. We used te reo in all our comms with workmates, friends and whānau. But what the tamiriki most enjoyed was crafting bookmarks lovingly adorned with te reo Māori.
