I'm learning Te Reo because I live in a bicultural country with two spoken languages, and so far I'm only fluent in one of them.

Understanding another culture is greatly enhanced by learning the language and I believe Maori culture has a huge amount to offer us as kiwis, including the respect for the land, water and air and the need to protect those if we are to thrive.
