As a volunteer Girl Guide leader, I always ensure we’re using basic Te Reo for the girls to learn what different items and introductions are! We even took time to learn the Girl Guide saying in Te Reo. It’s not a lot, but it’s a start at a very, very young age to get the younger generation involved in keeping this beautiful language alive!!
