Our office had bring your own lunch today as we can not share at the moment. We based today's korero around kai.
We are beginners so used simple phrases.
For example: My share was - kei te kai aporo ahau (I am eating an apple)
We practiced this with the food we were each eating.
Another workmate shared: Kua ki tonu taku puku (My tummy is full)
As we are not always in the office together we are meeting again on Rāmere and our korero will be based around the colours of the rainbow (aniwaniwa).
