As a Ex Pat from the United States, I am finishing up my course He Papa Tikanga from Te Wanananga o Aotearoa for Matarike this year. I have been here in New Zealand for almost 19 years now and thought it was only right to get involved with Maori culture and learn about it's people. Plus, I get to celebrate my wedding anniversary on Matariki this year.
