I am proud of my Māori heritage. I love hearing Te Reo being spoken. My Mum used to teach Māori back in the day. Knowing your identity is so important. Knowing where you are from is important too. Whakapapa is key to living life to the full. Never meant to live life, do life alone or in isolation but together as Whānau in Whānau.
I truly believe our Ataahua language will never die out, not as long as we have a fire burning inside of us!
Anyhooo, if I was fluent I would have written this message in Māori, but, I am not ...yet💕
