The Bi-Cultural Commitee at Campbells Bay Kura had awesome plans to make Te wiki bigger and better this year. We had a guest speaker lined up and workshops to get our tamariki immersed in all things Māori. Lockdown happened and we rushed to get something for our Kaioko and tamariki to still celebrate Te Wiki. Part of this was having a full staff zoom at 12pm Tātu 14th September to take part in the Māori language moment for 2021. It was a huge success with over 40 staff participating. We said a karakia, did quizzes and games.
