After being in lockdown our rangatahi in Dargaville were excited to be allowed back on campus under alert level 2 and decided to cook a kai together to celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori and enjoy each others company.
They organised their ingredients using both English and Te Reo Māori to help them learn the Māori name for each component of their kai. It was a great time of whanaungatanga and the kai was delicious and appreciated.
