On this day we celebrated, that day in 1972, by socialising and normalising Te Reo Māori within our workplace Te Whatu Ora ‐ Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley.
Wellington Hospital, heard ataahua waiata from Te Ahurea Māori rōpū Ngā Puna Waiora (Wellington and Hutt Hospitals very own waiata group) led by our rawe kaiako Whaea Tanea Pahina, and finished it off with a reka kai as provided by the Whānau Care Services team. What a way to celebrate who we are as a whānau, who we are as a people and who we are as as a country.
