I'm of Cook Island decent born n breed in NZ, I attended Kohanga Reo and Kura Kaupapa Maori with my son back in the 90's and worked for Te Wananga o Aotearoa in childcare.
I now reside in Melbourne Australia, been here for 15 years and have 3 beautiful grand daughters who are Australian and Cook Island Maori and were born here in Melbourne and now reside in Tauranga NZ.
I would love to reconnect with the language and hopefully one day speak Maori with my grandchildren.
