Today was ako and whakarongo.

Today was ako and whakarongo. We had a team's hui with our kaikōrero Tama. He began with karakia and pepeha and waiata. The kōrero for the day was how we as maori came to be in Aotearoa. From tales of our tūpuna to the origins of kīngitanga. I also enjoyed the part where he mentioned star navigation to direct the Waka as well as his karakia he uses for fishing. In closing we ended in karakia. All in all it was a good team experience, with a thirst to learn more
