Marina | Maori Languge Moment 2021

Avid Beginner level learners of te Reo Māori, hubby Richard and I wanted to text with the intention of using as much of te Reo Māori as possible especially this week where we've been more focused to make an effort and this was the result of today's text kōrero and ako combo. This was part of a follow up check-in text thread from hubby as I had just delivered my weekly 5:30am LIVE Speak Fearlessly coaching call (which I renamed Kōrero Fearlessly today) helping wahine find their voice to Kōrero Fearlessly with confidence and competence. We discussed te Reo Māori revitalisation in Aotearoa and how we can be part of this movement, imagining a future where te Reo Māori is spoken fluently across Aotearoa ... one sweet day! Anyway, the video is self explanatory and thought it would be a cool opportunity to record and share how to place a macron above vowels in text after giving some cheek to my Samsung phone using hubby. Arohamai in advance for any mispronounciations - we're getting there and loving the learning journey :)
