My two cousins and i are working together to create a kākahu for our marae in Omanaia to be finished for the opening of the new whare kai. We do not live close to each other - one in Tauranga, one in Kaikohe and myself in Kaeo. The panel from Tauranga was sent in the mail to join to mine and this was us meeting in Kerikeri to bring the third panel together with the first two.
My pepi is three and he is starting to use the kupu he is learning at Matangirau Ohanga Reo.
