Meghan | Maori Languge Moment 2021

The Cancer Society Wellington is dedicated to improving cancer outcomes for all New Zealanders and part of this goal includes the day-to-day use of te reo in our organisation. We have Māori staff and management but we specifically wanted our non-Māori team members to lead this kaupapa in an attempt to normalise te reo within our organisation without it being on the shoulders of Māori staff only. Each day this week, we have been learning a new kiwaha, and decided to meet together to learn today's one - Ka mau te wehi - for our Māori Language Moment!
