It is one of the three official languages of Aotearoa New Zealand. I am encouraging the use of te reo because I want to see the language thrive and be passed down to our ākonga. As part of the treaty of Waitangi, it is an official language to be shared and spoken for all.
Though I am only a beginner in te reo the journey will be lifelong. I am up for the challenge!
