We have a school kaiarahi who has developed over the past six years a programme of learning of Te Reo ma tikanga Maori, at each year level. We are invested in lifting the achievement of our Maori students and recognising the importance of Te Reo Maori ma tikanga Maori as part of our bilingual and bi cultural heritage. We are a very multicultural school and it is important that all cultures within our school have their heritage valued but also recognise and can participate in New Zealand's bi cultural heritage.
By participating, we can show that we support the cause for all New Zealanders to be not only bi lingual but to have an understanding of Te Ao Maori.
