We celebrated by singing and dancing to a You Tube clip produced by Taika Waititi with the cast from his film 'Boy'. We boogied down to Taika and the cast preforming Thriller moves to Poi E by Patea Maori Club. There were 33 kaimahi from the Kainga Ora team in Tamaki Makaurau - our crew are called Programme Raranga - unfortunately no photos but a screen full of dancers in all their forms was a sight to behold! It was a joyous way to celebrate Te Reo Maori.
