This morning we had a wonderful session with whaua Bea where we all took part in singing and learning te reo Māori.
Then at 12 o clock today as part of Māori language moment we all came together to practice the waiata we are learning - six60’s song pepeha.
This week is Māori Language week and a chance to celebrate and use our country’s indigenous language.
The theme again this year is ‘kia kaha te reo Māori’, or, ‘let the language live’.
