Te Wiki o te Reo Māori Parade
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori in partnership with Te Kaunihera o Pōneke, Z Energy and Downer Group are bringing the parade back to Pōneke!
Bring your brightest signs and your loudest voices as we take te reo Māori to the Wellington Waterfront.
Join the parade:
Monday 15 September, 9.30am, Wellington Waterfront
Meet at 9.30 at Lady Elizabeth Lane if you're joining the parade. We will follow the waterfront path to Waitangi Park.
If you are unable to join the parade but are keen to celebrate te reo Māori at Waitangi Park - you can meet the parade at 10.30am.
