- I am a father of six tamariki, and a koro to 13 mokopuna
- I have very clear goals; planning is always my key focus;
- I am mindful that humility and respect are key values that assist in learning.
- I was brought up by kaumātua and kuia immersed in strong tikanga Māori values and protocols
- I am a proactive practioner of mātauranga Māori
