Rosina | Maori Language Moment 2021

On Tuesday I did a mihi to the whanau in the hospital wing at Kiri Te Kanawa Resthome at lunch time. There were about 20 whanau with approximately 8 staff members. I then said karakia mo te kai for them in te reo.

Also on Wednesday I went and called Bingo for the same area and called the numbers in te reo along with giving little phrases. There were about 16 staff and whanau members in attendance.

At mahi in my ward at Hauori Tairawhiti, Te Whare Awhiora (Mental Health) I have put posters up around the ward and also kupu for equipment and fixtures.
