At ENZ Manapou ki te Ao, we have been celebrating Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori in a big way since 2017.
For 2021, we have a week full of exciting activities to get us all giving te reo a go! We are learning about the tikanga behind karakia, making our own poi and getting together to learn a mihimihi.
Here's a video of a few of us taking turns to say our mihimihi. No one in this group is a native Māori speaker but it's fantastic to see the effort everyone has gone to. This week, there are many more groups in our organisation learning their mihimihi together!
