The video contains a reading of the Te Reo translation of a KARAKIA from the Muslim Scripture; the Holy Qur'an. The whole book has been translated into Te Reo and published under the title; Kurānu Tapu. The translation of the Holy Qur'an into Te Reo Maori is an achievement of historic nature. One aspect of this achievement that makes it yet more momentous is that the translation is done by a non-native, Mr. Shakil Ahmad Monir, an Ahmadi Muslim scholar from Pakistan who worked tirelessly for more than two decades to ensure the accomplishment of this noble project.
