I am an Indian and coming from a very diverse and secular country have always had a lot of respect for new languages and cultures. I teach 5&6 year olds who share the love of Maori culture and language. Kapahaka practice is one of our favourite times in a particular week. We also enjoy our waiata’s and use of te reo in daily commands, greetings, conversation , colours and numbers. For our Te reo moment we sang a lot of songs. I hope you like it as much as we did making it and performing them.
