Kia ora koutou e te reo Māori whānau. This week I am continuing to study and practice te reo Māori with the help of our tutor whaea Pippa Hakopa who comes to Rakiura and teaches a class of about 20 people every week! We kōrero, use our Te kākano pukapuka, play games, learn Waiata. Have wānanga and learn so much more! She is helping and encouraging bringing forth the history of Rakiura and te reo Māori to us all.
