Staff members decorated the staff room. Others bought in items of interest eg korowai cloak, greenstone patu, books, bone carvings. At 12 noon, one of our staff talked about the history of Te reo, another spoke in Te reo explaining the importance of pepeha and another said the karakia before we ate our Kai. We asked everyone to do their pepeha which was really interesting. The picture is of our steamed hangi and rewana bread.
