Kei te ako tonu au i te reo Māori mō ngā tau e toru ināianei. I haere au ki te whare o tōku hoa, nā ingarangi ia, kua akotahi māua, ā, i whakaharatau māua i ngā karakia, waiata, ako i ngā kupu hou me te kōrero. He pai ki a au ki te ako tahanga, engari he pai ake ki te tohatoha i te haerenga ki tōku hoa. He maha ngā pātai, ngā rangirua me te pai ake ngā roro e rua i te roro kotahi! Nō reira, nau mai te hapa, whakaputa te amaimai. Karawhiua!! Kia Kaha Te Reo Māori
I am learning Te Reo Māori, have been for a few years now, so I went and met up with my friend at her house who has been learning with me and we spent an hour together. We started with karakia, sung a waiata and then practised our conversation and tested each other on new kupu. I enjoy studying on my own but it is also so fantastic to share this learning journey together as there are always questions, uncertainties and two brains are better than one. Therefore, Welcome the mistakes, banish the fear. Give it a go!
Nā Toni, (Ngāmotu)
