An old proverb from my birthland says wherever you place your feet, there the sky above you to stare, to respect.
That means we need to learn and respect any values around us the place we live in. And languages are parts of the representation of our social - cultural - spiritual life.
I love languages. I want to learn and respect more about Maori through languages ... because I am here.
