Here are 16 of the REAP Wairarapa and Nga Pumanawa Tupuna team signing our REAP waiata. The waiata tells the story of Haunui a Nanaia travelling across Remutaka and naming Wairarapa Moana hence where the name for our region comes from. Our waiata was adapted by Makuini Kerehi, our Kaitakawaenga at REAP Wairarapa. Face masks were worn as we were in our public meeting room.
