Tēnā koutou,
I am continuing my journey with Te Reo by taking a Māori 101 course through the University of Hawaii. I’m in Hawaii right now.
Amelia Butler is my kaiako, we’ve already made a lot of progress and I feel very connected with Te Reo, its tangata and culture. My whāinga, and it has been for a long time, is to connect with other peoples and languages of Te Moananui a Kiwa and to seek similarities through dedicated learning and bonding.
Ngā mihi nui.
